Alumni

The UBC Alumni Association's mission is to use its unique position to serve alumni, the university and its students by fostering communications, networking and access to resources that enrich their lives and advance the reputation of the university.

Global Network
UBC alumni live and work in 120 nations around the world. We keep in touch with those grads -- and they keep in touch with each other -- through our global alumni network. A regional network is a group of alumni living in the same part of the world who get together on a regular basis. There are 149,000 alumni in Canada; 7,300 alumni in the United States; and 6,000 alumni living internationally. You can volunteer to establish your own regional network!

The goals of the networks program are:

  • to promote activities abroad for UBC grads so you can meet, form networks and stay in touch

  • to provide a link with UBC and help you stay involved with the university

  • to serve the university by offering you a chance to contribute to programs that support its educational goals and by increasing the profile of UBC abroad
